Is it safe to use my credit card?

Every credit card purchase you make at BuilderBooks.com is guaranteed to be safe. This means you pay nothing if unauthorized charges are made to your credit card as a result of shopping at BuilderBooks.com.

 

If you feel more comfortable, you can call 1-800-223-2665, from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm Eastern Time and place your credit card order over the phone.

 

What does "NAHB member price" mean?

Members of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) receive a discounted price on all items. You can join NAHB through your local home builders association. For more information on joining NAHB, call 1-800-368-5242, ext. 0.

 

What is your return policy?

Returns are accepted within 30 days of the receipt of your order. You may return any book in its original condition. We will issue a full refund for the purchase price of the item. We will only refund shipping costs if the return is the result of our error.

 

If an item is returned after the 30 day return policy but in resalable condition, it is within NAHB's discretion to issue a credit to your account. ALL credits will expire within 12 months from date of issue.

 

To return a book, please enclose a copy of the packing slip in the carton, wrap the package securely, and send it to the address listed below:

How much do you charge for shipping in the US and Canada?

For orders in the US, standard delivery shipping charges are as follows:

 

   $1.00 for orders up to $7.00
   $5.00 for orders between $7.01 and $25.00
   $8.00 for orders between $25.01 and $75.00
   $13.00 for orders between $75.01 and $150.00
   $17.00 for orders between $150.01 and $250.00

What is the shipping charge for orders sent outside of the US and Canada?

For orders to be shipped outside of the US and Canada, add 25% of the total value of your order as a shipping charge.

 

Is rush service available?

Yes. All rush orders (those requiring same day shipment) received by 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time each business day will be shipped that same day. If received after 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time, it will be shipped no later than the next business day. For UPS Second Day Service, add $21.00 to standard shipping charge. For UPS One-Day Service, add $29.00 to standard shipping charge.
